Conceptual basis of the project

A gifted child is a child who stands out for bright, obvious, sometimes outstanding achievements.

(or has internal prerequisites for such achievements)

in one activity or another..

Presidential program "Children of Russia".

As theoretical foundations, a kind of value-semantic component of the project, working definitions of the concepts of "giftedness", "gifted child", types of giftedness and key ideas on which the content-target, operational-activity and evaluation-regulatory components of this project will be based.

An analysis of the existing theoretical views made it possible to formulate the following definitions as working definitions, combining the psychological, pedagogical and social contexts:

giftedness is a complex mental formation in which cognitive, emotional, volitional, motivational, psychophysiological and other properties of the psyche are intertwined, potential inclinations and special abilities, the development or extinction of which is due to factors of a personal, social and pedagogical nature (the term "giftedness" is used as generalizing for the whole scale of giftedness: inclination - ability - giftedness - talent - genius);

gifted child– a child with outstanding intellect and non-standard thinking, individual inclinations and abilities and their combination, creativity and high motivation for activity, which leads in the process of complex interaction of personal potential, socio-cultural environment and professional pedagogical support to high achievements and outstanding results in one or more areas.

The work will useclassification of types of giftedness, based on the areas and areas of activity in which these talents are manifested and developed:

  1. intellectual giftedness: subject-academic; research; scientific and technical; innovative;
  2. sports talent: general physical; special (in a separate sport);
  3. artistic and creative talent: literary and poetic; choreographic; stage; musical; pictorial;
  4. communicative talent:organizational and leadership; oratory.

Important in practice isclassification of types of giftednessbased on "degree of development":

  1. inclination (inclinations)- genetically determined properties of an individual that affect the ability to achieve high achievements (activity, performance, memory properties, etc.), inclinations are natural prerequisites for abilities;
  2. ability - the ability of a person to achieve success in any activity, abilities determine the ease and speed in mastering the activity;
  3. giftedness - a property of a holistic personality, based on inclinations and abilities; but not reducible to their sum, it is high level ability development;
  4. talent - the ability to achieve a high order, but within the framework of what has already been achieved;
  5. genius - the ability to create something fundamentally new, to pave new paths.

Forms of identifying gifted children:

Observation;

Communication with parents;

Olympiads, competitions, competitions, scientific and practical conferences;

The work of a psychologist, teacher: testing, questioning, conversation.

Stages of identifying gifted children:

1. Preschool educational institution.

2. Primary school

3. School of the 1st stage

4 School 2,3, steps

Principles of pedagogical activity in work with gifted children:

The principle of maximum diversity of the presented opportunities for personal development;

The principle of increasing the role of extracurricular activities;

The principle of individualization and differentiation of training;

The principle of creating conditions for joint work students with minimal teacher involvement;

The prince of freedom of choice for students of additional educational services, assistance, mentoring.

Expected Result:

1. Improving the system for identifying, supporting and developing gifted children.

2. Drawing up a data bank for students by categories of giftedness: intellectual, creative, sports.

3. Monitoring the results of work with gifted children ( Appendix No. 3)

School data bank of gifted children: the purpose, procedure for the formation, maintenance and use in determining the categories of gifted children, scientists do not have a common opinion. Under "giftedness"

Stepnogorsk, 2013

  1. School data bank of gifted children: purpose, procedure for formation, maintenance and use

Under the "giftedness" of the child is understood as a higher than his peers, all other things being equal, susceptibility to learning and more pronounced creative manifestations. The concept of "giftedness" comes from the word "gift" and means especially favorable internal prerequisites for development. The pedagogical encyclopedia gives the following definition of this definition: "Giftedness is a high level of development of a person's abilities, allowing him to achieve special success in certain areas of activity." Giftedness is a qualitative peculiar combination of abilities for each individual, their unity.

The concept of "giftedness" is very close to the concept of "ability". Abilities, as noted in the philosophical encyclopedic dictionaries, This individual characteristics personality, which is the subjective conditions for the successful implementation of a certain kind of activity. Ability is not limited to the individual's knowledge, skills and abilities. They are found, first of all, in the speed, depth and strength of mastering the methods and techniques of some activity and are internal psychological regulators that determine the possibility of acquiring them.

In our educational institution, we rely on the point of view of English scientists who are cautious about the terms "gifted, brilliant" and replacing them with "capable and talented." Giftedness is no longer regarded as a single, once and for all, given characteristic of a child. In connection with the foregoing, we define a gifted personality as self-actualizing, possessing the key and profile competencies of individuals.

The phenomenon of giftedness appears not as a frozen constant, but as creative process, occurring under the influence, in the interpenetration of two factors - biological and social, in the range of their interaction.

Thus, one of the main goals facing modern school- providing conditions for the identification, training and development of gifted children. To this end, the school has created a database of gifted children.

The data bank is formed annually on the basis of:

  • The results of diagnostic work of students;

  • The results of psychological testing based on the differential diagnostic questionnaire E.A. Klimov;

  • The results of the joint work of the teacher-student.
The data bank ensures the collection, systematization and preservation of information about gifted children in the form of a portfolio of their achievements. The school data bank is formed annually as of November 1 of the current year.

  1. Olympiad work at school: problems and solutions

When conducting a school Olympiad, preference is given to original ideas for solving certain problems, with a clear justification for them, choosing the optimal method for completing a task, reasoned conclusions, etc. In addition, Olympiad participants are often offered tasks not only using program concepts and laws, but also tasks that go beyond curricula even an in-depth study of the subject. Assignments for intra-school Olympiads are approved methodical association teachers 2-3 weeks before the meeting. Tasks for the Olympiads are compiled taking into account the long-term practice of participation of schoolchildren in city and regional subject Olympiads, and the requirements for their participants.

Tasks of the school Olympiad contain, as a rule, questions and exercises of various types and degrees of complexity. They should contain several simpler, “comforting” questions for less prepared, or for the first time, schoolchildren participating in the Olympiad. Difficult questions Olympiads should play a major role in the selection of winners of the school round of the Olympiad. Their solution requires a lot of effort from the participants of the Olympiad, and only those students who are at a sufficiently high level of intellectual development and mastering the system of biological knowledge can cope with them.

Thus, the main thing in the issues of the school Olympiad is the creative nature of the tasks that require students to show the skills of cognitive independence.

It would be desirable that during the Olympiads of different levels, at the end of the classes, the students were given classes to analyze the tasks done. Moreover, the tasks of the republican and international levels are so difficult that school teacher does not always have the necessary knowledge in highly specialized areas.
