When choosing the best place to live in Russia, you should pay attention to the rating of the most comfortable and favorable cities, however, the final decision should be made based on personal preferences.

When thinking about moving, people tend to choose the best place to live in Russia, as a rule, this is the most comfortable and favorable city in every sense. Which region of Russia is better to move to? Often Russians and foreigners ask this question for a variety of reasons. Someone is looking for the best, most favorable climate, someone is looking for a clean ecological environment, someone is trying to find a suitable area because of chronic diseases, someone is simply looking for a job in their specialty.

Big cities have the hardest time being among the cleanest. This is not surprising, because heavy industry is developed in megacities, the roads are overloaded with cars, the streets are littered with garbage. Of course, this brings great harm to the environment.

The cleanest sparsely populated cities in Russia

The city of Derbent is located in a very picturesque area. Here both water and air meet the standards. There are practically no enterprises that harm the environment. Those that exist are mainly related to the food industry, which does not do much harm. The streets are always neat: the local population is very respectful of the places they live in and honors their culture.

AT last years The ecological situation in Taganrog has greatly improved. The city has a developed industry that damages the environment. In response to this, a number of serious decisions are being made, the task of which is to improve the environment. These activities have indeed made it possible to effectively improve the ecological situation. In addition, the proximity to the Sea of Azov and its ability to self-cleanse play an important role. Taganrog is a fairly clean, comfortable and well-groomed city with dozens of beaches, a large number of parks, squares, and green areas. The mild and favorable climate should also be noted. Relatively low air humidity is perfectly complemented by proximity to the sea.

Thus, in Russia there is a fairly large selection of cities with favorable and comfortable living conditions. Which one is better, everyone decides for himself. If successful employment and high wages are in the first place, preference should be given to large metropolitan areas. In cases where the environmental situation and health are a particularly important selection criterion, it is better to choose a sparsely populated city for moving.

Recently Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation released a study in which he named the 10 best cities in Russia in terms of quality of life. Cities were evaluated on five indicators: the quality of medical care, roads and road facilities, culture and education, housing, evaluation of the work of city authorities and migration sentiment. We found out why it is really good to live in these cities.

1. Tyumen

It is not surprising that now the city is in the first place - urban infrastructure is actively developing in Tyumen. The quality of roads in the city is at a high level, but, unlike the Russian capital, everything is nearby, so you don’t have to stand in traffic jams for hours. If you live on the outskirts of Tyumen, you will still easily and quickly get to the city center. There are 155 private medical clinics in Tyumen and 19 public ones. Service is at a high level. Education is also not bad - there are eight universities for every taste of a graduate, as well as many colleges. The local administration also takes care of the leisure of the city's residents: theatres, museums, cinemas. There is even a zoo and a water park. The population of the city has been constantly growing since 2011 - now 740 thousand people live in Tyumen, while the average salary in the city is 51 thousand rubles.In general, living in Tyumen is really convenient and comfortable. The only negative is the cold winter and some environmental problems, but this is generally typical for the whole of Russia.

2. Terrible

Grozny has the best roads in the country. 97% of citizens are satisfied with the state of the road infrastructure, and this already says a lot. The average salary is about 20 thousand rubles, which is higher than in the entire region. The city is being actively built up and restored, so there is where to walk and what to see. There are three higher educational institutions and 25 medical clinics in Grozny. In addition, unlike most cities, Grozny has a good mild climate and hot summers. The bulk of the population is made up of believers, so clubs and other similar entertainments are not common here. Blogger Varlamov noted that, despite the sad story, you feel very safe in the city.

3. Kazan

Beautiful and historical Kazan has long attracted tourists. Usually it is visited third: after Moscow and St. Petersburg. Living here is also quite comfortable: a good climate, convenient infrastructure, rich cultural life. The average salary is 37 thousand rubles a month, and since this is an industrial city, finding a job is quite simple. There are more than 400 public and private clinics in Kazan. There are environmental problems, but they are not critical. Local residents also complain about traffic problems, but they are also gradually being resolved. For example, a subway was built for the 1000th anniversary of Kazan.

4. St. Petersburg

The second most important city in Russia cannot be called an ideal place to live. The high cost of living, poor climate and ecology, traffic jams are all inevitable consequences of the development of a metropolis. The average salary in St. Petersburg is 53 thousand rubles, while housing is many times more expensive. But on the other hand, it is very interesting to live in St. Petersburg - in terms of the variety of cultural leisure, this city surpasses all the others from the list. In addition, here is a wide list of higher educational institutions. There are places to be treated - 89 public clinics and hundreds of private ones.

5. Krasnodar

150 kilometers from the sea, warm climate, rich history - all this distinguishes Krasnodar from other cities. True, some do not like this climate - in summer the temperature can be above 40. Locals also complain about the environment - all city beaches have long been closed, and the purity of the air leaves much to be desired. But there are also advantages - the work of housing and communal services is well established, the infrastructure is quite good, the average salary is slightly higher than in the country (31 thousand rubles). The education and entertainment sector is well developed.

6. Ufa

With the capital of the Republic of Bashkortostan took 6th place in the ranking of prosperous cities. Ufa is a district center, so there are many educational institutions that attract students from all surrounding cities. The average salary is 30 thousand rubles. Various enterprises operate in the city, so there is where to work. The city has a developed infrastructure and good roads, and public utilities are doing their job quite well. In general, Ufa, of course, is not an ideal city for living (in particular, there are environmental problems), but it is quite worthy. In addition, it does not stand still and is rapidly modernizing and changing.

7. Novosibirsk

On the 7th place is the “capital of Siberia”. Novosibirsk impresses with its scope - there are multi-lane roads, huge buildings, wide squares. The city is being actively built up and modernized (by the way, there is a metro). There are dozens of educational institutions, cultural and sports facilities in the city. Everyone in Russia has heard about the famous Novosibirsk Akademgorodok. And there is also a zoo and 16 cinemas. Of the minuses - a sharply continental climate (it is better to leave the house with a spare set of clothes), air pollution and, in general, not a very good ecological situation. But on the other hand, because of the developed industry, it is quite easy to find a job (the average salary is 30 thousand rubles).

8. Moscow

The capital of the city is located on the 8th line of the rating, and there are reasons for this. The average Muscovite will complain to you about many hours of traffic jams, bad ecology, high cost life and the need to get up at 5 am to get to work. But Moscow also has its advantages. For example, the highest average salary in the country (almost 70 thousand rubles), as well as ample opportunities career development and learning. Cultural life the capital is also very rich: concerts of world celebrities, exhibitions, festivals, etc. are regularly held. That is why thousands of young people come to the city every year, dreaming to prove themselves. In addition, in recent years, the mayor of Moscow has been actively developing infrastructure and solving existing problems.

9. Krasnoyarsk

Krasnoyarsk is located near the Yenisei River. For a long time it was the merchant center of Siberia, and now it receives diplomas forformation of an effective model of social support for the population. The climate of the city, by the way, has changed due to human activity. True, because of this, the environmental situation has also changed (Krasnoyarsk is regularly included in anti-ratings on this issue). But the city administration is actively working in this direction and is engaged in planting trees and shrubs in Krasnoyarsk.The average salary is 38 thousand rubles, it is quite easy to find a job. It is not only an industrial, but also a commercial city.In Krasnoyarsk, there are several maternity hospitals, an oncology center, several trauma centers, two large hospitals - the Regional Hospital and the Emergency Hospital. Public utilities have always been in excellent condition in the city. Very close to Krasnoyarsk there are interesting reserved places, therefore tourism is also developing. In general, the city is really quite suitable for living.

10. Kemerovo

The city is the administrative center, so there are no problems with work here. The average salary is 26 thousand rubles.The climate is not the most pleasant - sharply continental with severe frosts and hot summers. The ecology in the city is bad - you can’t swim in the reservoirs, and the air is polluted. Despite these problems,living in the city of Kemerovo, in general, is comfortable. There are good roads, developed infrastructure, low utility bills. Kemerovo is also a scientific and educational center of the region: services and trade are actively developing here. There are many shopping centers in the city where you can not only find entertainment, but also work.

Many of our compatriots are thinking about where they can move to live within the country. Ratings that show the advantages and disadvantages of individual cities can help them make a choice. How are they composed? What is taken into account? Which cities in Russia occupy the top lines of ratings in certain categories?

Features of cities and regions of Russia

Ecological, climatic and economic conditions in different parts our country is markedly different. How to determine which Russian cities and regions are favorable for moving to a permanent place of residence? Based on surveys public opinion and statistical data, ratings are compiled, which should help to understand this issue. Many means mass media do similar research, but the most authoritative ratings are those compiled by organizations such as the Department of Sociology Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation and the Center for Strategic Studies of Rosgosstrakh. The data source is federal Service state statistics. There are many criteria by which the situation in each city and region is assessed.

Where to move to live better if the environmental factor is important to you

Human health is largely dependent on the state of the environment. Toxic waste that pollutes the air, water and soil can cause serious illness and even premature death. Availability environmental issues especially dangerous for pregnant women and children. Various congenital pathologies are the result of exposure to toxic emissions on the human body.

There are three factors that determine the state of the environment:

  • industrial waste;
  • vehicle exhaust gases;
  • geographic location.

Enterprises in industrial cities and a large number of vehicles in metropolitan areas are the main sources of pollution. In addition, the concentration of toxic substances depends on the geographical location. If the city is located between hills, air currents do not blow its territory well enough. In this case, the concentration of harmful emissions increases many times over.

  1. Pskov;
  2. Smolensk;
  3. Murmansk;
  4. Nizhnevartovsk;
  5. Sochi.

The air is fresh, the city is small and therefore not very polluted. If you are tired of the bustle of the city, gases and cars, then I suggest a trip to Pskov.

http://otzovik.com/review_2344826.html

The purity of the atmosphere in this city is maintained thanks to the coniferous forests located around it. Another positive factor is the abundance of green spaces in the park areas of Pskov.

It is also worth paying attention to the opposite rating, which determines the most environmentally polluted cities in Russia. When choosing a place for permanent residence, it is important to know in which cities the difficult environmental situation poses the greatest risk to health. The environmental anti-rating looks like this:

  1. Norilsk;
  2. Moscow;
  3. St. Petersburg;
  4. Cherepovets (Vologda region);
  5. Asbest (Sverdlovsk region).

It is easy to see that this list includes metropolitan areas and cities in which large industrial enterprises are located. For example, the Severstal metallurgical plant is located in Cherepovets.

Medical service

An integral part of a fulfilling life is the opportunity to receive quality medical services. Life expectancy directly depends on this factor. The assessment of the level of medical care is based on surveys of residents: how satisfied they are with the availability and professionalism of treatment. As additional indicators, the death rate among people of retirement age and the percentage of people with incomes below the average who seek paid medical services are used. Rating Russian cities with the highest level of health care:

  1. Moscow;
  2. St. Petersburg;
  3. Naberezhnye Chelny;
  4. Tyumen.

It is important to remember that cardiac problems are a common cause of disability and premature death. Timely diagnosis and highly professional treatment can stop the development of cardiovascular diseases. People suffering from such ailments should pay attention to the presence of cardiological clinics in the city or region to which they plan to move. These medical institutions must meet modern standards. A large number of clinics providing high-quality treatment for vascular and heart diseases are concentrated in Moscow, however, there are high-tech cardio centers in other Russian cities. For example, the Tyumen Cardiology Research Center, the Novosibirsk Research Institute of Circulatory Pathology named after academician E.N. Meshalkin and the Research Institute of Cardiology named after V.A. Almazov in St. Petersburg.

Standard of living

In Russia, Moscow and the regions of Siberia and the Far East, where there are large oil and gas fields, are leading in terms of income. The rest of the Russian regions are far behind the leaders. This trend has continued for many years. Rating of the average monthly income of working citizens in the regions Russian Federation in 2018:

  1. Yamal-Nenets autonomous region(73091.7 rubles);
  2. Moscow (70220.8 rubles);
  3. Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug (64097.55 rubles);
  4. Nenets Autonomous Okrug (61592.85 rubles);
  5. Chukotka Autonomous Okrug (58063.5 rubles).

It is worth noting that in regions rich in hydrocarbon reserves, not only workers in the oil and gas industry receive high wages. For example, in the Yamalo-Nenets region, which occupies the first place in the rating autonomous region average monthly income school teacher is about 60 thousand rubles.

The leaders of the all-Russian list simultaneously top the income level ratings in the Central, Urals, Northwestern and Far Eastern federal districts. To complete the picture, it is worth comparing the average earnings of residents by federal districts:

  1. Central federal district(45312.3 rubles);
  2. Northwestern, Ural, Far East federal districts(40530.6 rubles);
  3. Siberian Federal District (31081.05 rubles);
  4. Southern, Privolzhsky federal districts (25957.8 rubles).

The average wage characterizes only one aspect of the standard of living. Another important aspect that should not be overlooked is the cost of living and the price level. Such an indicator as the affordability of housing will help to understand this issue. Rating of cities with the highest price of 1 square meter of housing:

  1. Moscow (202269 rubles);
  2. St. Petersburg (110114 rubles);
  3. Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk (104319 rubles);
  4. Vladivostok (97576 rubles);
  5. Sochi (95467 rubles).

For comparison, you should familiarize yourself with the list of cities with the lowest cost of 1 square meter of housing:

  1. Nizhnekamsk (33501 rubles);
  2. Novokuznetsk (33935 rubles);
  3. Biysk (34558 rubles);
  4. Rybinsk (36470 rubles);
  5. Cherepovets (36806 rubles).

Settlements with affordable housing prices are mainly located in the Volga region, the Southern Urals and the Siberian Federal District.

Climate

What climatic conditions are considered the most favorable for human health and life? Positive factors include minor day-to-day fluctuations in air temperature and the absence of sudden changes in atmospheric pressure. To strengthen the immune system, the human body needs to receive enough ultraviolet radiation especially important for children. Therefore, a large number sunny days a year has a positive impact on human health.

Taking into account the above criteria, the most comfortable climatic zones for living are the Azov, Black Sea and Caspian coasts. The following cities are located in these zones:

  • Krasnodar;
  • Sevastopol;
  • Novorossiysk;
  • Astrakhan;
  • Sochi.

Have you ever been to Sochi?! A wonderful place. Half a year summer, half a year off-season - green winter. I moved three years ago from Siberia. The climate is excellent, humid and hot for a maximum of two weeks in August.

Weather-dependent people should carefully approach the choice of a region for permanent residence. Their well-being is deteriorating not only from magnetic storms. It is affected by sudden changes in air temperature and atmospheric pressure. Daily temperature fluctuations up to 1–2 ° C are considered safe for people suffering from meteorological dependence. In the regions listed above, this indicator is kept within these limits.

Employment

For people of working age, the prospect of getting a job in the city chosen for moving is of critical importance. The employment potential of a city or region can be analyzed using several indicators. First of all, you need to find out what kind of competition exists in the local labor market. The number of applicants per vacancy is an indicator showing how intense the competition among job applicants is. You should also take into account the number of unemployed people in a given city and the percentage of its residents who want to move to another region for the purpose of employment. All these criteria together will help determine how attractive and promising a given city is for migrants seeking work.

  1. Ryazan;
  2. Vologda;
  3. Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk;
  4. Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky;
  5. Vladivostok.

The best cities to live in Russia

If you are planning to move to a new place of residence for the long term or permanently, it is wise to opt for a sustainable and promising city. Many Russian cities have serious development potential and show promise for the future.

Kazan

This city of the Volga region is one of the largest tourist centers in Russia. It attracts about a million tourists every year. The industry of the city includes large chemical and aviation enterprises. Kazan is the leader in terms of housing construction in the Volga region.

Krasnoyarsk

The largest economic, educational and sports center of Central and Eastern Siberia. Multiple winner of the competition "The most comfortable city in Russia". One of the most attractive Russian cities for investment. The leading branches of Krasnoyarsk's economy are non-ferrous metallurgy and mechanical engineering. The population is growing constantly and at a rapid pace.

Krasnodar

The capital of the most economically powerful region in southern Russia. Krasnodar has repeatedly topped the ratings of the most favorable Russian cities for doing business. The industrial potential of the region successfully attracts domestic and foreign investors. The industrial complex of Krasnodar consists of many enterprises that employ about a third of the working population. In addition, Krasnodar is an important transport hub.

Video: Krasnodar is one of the most promising cities in Russia

Novosibirsk

The Trans-Siberian Railway passes through Novosibirsk. This city has the largest logistics complex in Siberia. Its economy has a number of important advantages: a diversified industry, the development of the service sector, transport, logistics and science, the presence of a large number of small and medium-sized businesses. The population of Novosibirsk is growing thanks to migrants from other Russian regions and CIS countries.

Crime level

The complex criminal situation makes the city unattractive for migrants, even if it boasts high rates by other criteria. The desire to live in a safe place where there is little chance of becoming a victim of criminals often outweighs other arguments in favor of choosing one or another locality. There is a simple way to assess the level of crime - statistics on the number of crimes committed per 1,000 inhabitants. The safest cities in Russia according to this criterion:

  1. Ryazan (7.8);
  2. Ulyanovsk (11.3);
  3. Voronezh (11.5);
  4. St. Petersburg (12.0);
  5. Penza (12.9).

It is also worth paying attention to sad list the most criminal cities of the Russian Federation. Comparison of a positive rating with a negative one shows how much the crime rate differs in different cities and regions.

  1. Kemerovo (32.2);
  2. Kurgan (31.9);
  3. Tyumen (30.7);
  4. Nizhny Novgorod (27.7);
  5. Samara (24.3).

Child Development

When choosing a permanent place of residence, families with children should give preference to environmentally friendly cities with a high quality of medical care. It is also worth asking about the availability of educational, sports and entertainment facilities. Cities that have a large number of such institutions and create conditions for the comprehensive development and education of children:

  1. Kazan;
  2. Belgorod;
  3. Rostov-on-Don;
  4. Kaliningrad;
  5. Voronezh.

In the case of moving with small children, it is advisable to avoid sudden changes in climate. If the climatic conditions at the new place of residence and the previous one are not too different, it will be easier for the child's body to endure the move.

prestige

Undoubtedly the most prestigious city Russia is its capital. Many Russians aspire to Moscow, hoping to realize their potential there. But it must be taken into account that other large Russian millionaire cities are gradually developing, improving and today they are not much inferior to Moscow. Among them, it is worth highlighting St. Petersburg, which is often called the cultural capital of Russia.

It is impossible to single out one city or region that meets all the requirements at the same time. For example, a city with a high level of average monthly wages may be environmentally unfavorable, so the choice of each migrant depends on personal preferences and life circumstances.

Russia is a huge state, so the ratings of regions and cities in terms of living standards, climate and other characteristics can radically differ from each other. An individual subject may be in the lead in one list and be in the last position in another.

This rating is based on a study by the Financial University of the Government of the Russian Federation, which carried out the latest measurement of the quality of medical care in different cities. A list of large settlements in Russia was configured, the population of which is not afraid to go to the clinic.

Climate

The rating regarding the choice of optimal climatic features in terms of living standards cannot be based on the preferences of several people. One may like the sunny weather of Maykop (Republic of Adygea), Yalta (Crimea), another - the mild but damp climate of Kaliningrad or St. Petersburg. The third is the dry, frosty air of Siberian cities.

Here are a few cities from each climate zone:

Disadvantages of other cities:

  • Vladivostok - high humidity from the ocean;
  • Magadan, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky is the same, the pole of harsh winters.
  • Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk - frequent earthquakes, humidity.

Employment

The capital is confidently leading both in terms of the number of vacancies and in terms of wages that are not affordable for everyone. In addition to Moscow, there are a number of cities that are not so much inferior to it in these indicators.

The top five looks like this:

  1. St. Petersburg- the number of vacancies exceeds applicants.
  2. Novosibirsk- the ratio of available vacancies and the unemployed is 8% worse than in St. Petersburg.
  3. Krasnodar is constantly growing, which allows us to talk about an increase not only in the population, but also in the number of vacancies.
  4. Kazan has the most favorable proportions regarding vacancies and wage ratios.
  5. Khabarovsk, Vladivostok show almost the same results. It can be explained state program"Far Eastern hectare", which became the reason for the development of small businesses, which led to the emergence of new vacancies.

Crime level

The rating of Russian cities in terms of living standards with its inherent low crime rate can be built on the basis of the latest reports of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Prosecutor General's Office, filed for January-September 2018. Moscow and the Moscow Region will be the leader, which is obvious based on the percentage of crimes and the number of inhabitants.

Therefore, below is a summary table in which you can compare these percentages and draw the necessary conclusions:

Subject Number of crimes, pcs. Number of inhabitants, people Number of crimes per 100,000 people
Tyva Republic 6 997 321 721 2 173
The Republic of Buryatia 17 953 984 510 1 822
Kaluga region 13 109 1 012 157 1 296
Volgograd region 28 222 2 521 275 1 118
Moscow 105 273 12 506 467 840
Moscow region 59 587 7 503 384 793
Leningrad region 15 837 1 812 815 872
Republic of Chechnya 2 496 1 436 980 172
Penza region 9 496 1 331 654 712
The Republic of Dagestan 11 954 3 063 884 389
Republic of Tatarstan 3 893 31 768 283
Krasnodar region 52 158 5 603 419 929
Republic of Karelia 8 799 622 483 1 412

The numbering of cities in the table is built in random order and is given for general information. Accordingly, the larger the population of the region, the higher the crime rate.

prestige

It is extremely difficult to build a rating of Russian cities in terms of the standard of living of the population, regarding the prestige of a particular subject. The only stable indicator is Moscow, which is located in the leader's position.

Numerous surveys of local residents conducted by research centers over several years showed different results. Most of the respondents are satisfied with their place of residence and consider the city prestigious.

However, statistics prove that only a few cities get the best results (with the exception of the capital):

Purity

The section deals not with environmental cleanliness, but with order and livability on the streets. A city included in this rating can be a major industrial center of the region and at the same time be distinguished by freshly painted benches and lack of empty bottles on the sidewalks:

  1. Saransk- for several years it has become the most “tidy” city in Russia. Here, flowers in the flower beds grow not only on the main streets, but also on secondary ones.
  2. Volzhsky(Volgograd region) is a satellite city of Volgograd, located on the other side of the Volga. Its uniqueness lies in the fact that against the background of the capital of the region it looks like an oasis among the dry steppe. Numerous flowerbeds, lawns and garden trees serve as an excellent outlet in the forty-degree heat.
  3. Sochi Four years have passed since the Winter Olympics. However, the city maintains the status it has not received. This is not only the most successful resort in Russia, but also the most comfortable and exemplary city in terms of cleanliness.
  4. Derbent– the population of this small city with Muslim roots honors its traditions and culture. This becomes the main reason why it is very difficult to find flaws in it.
  5. Grozny- despite the centuries-old history, the city was rebuilt almost from scratch. This partly explains the low level of dirt on the streets and the high concentration of infrastructure that improves the mood of the population: flowers in the flower beds, architectural monuments And so on.

Ecology

The leaders in this segment are 2 cities: Ufa and Sevastopol. The advantage of the first is explained by the abundance of forests and parks, which occupy about 35% of the total area. The Crimean city got to the first line due to the absence of large industrial enterprises.

It should be noted that in the near future the city on the seashore will probably leave its leading position, as a coal processing plant is being built there.

In addition to them, a number of subjects of the Russian Federation show good environmental conditions:

  1. Kostroma- is located in one of the most environmentally friendly areas of the European part of the country due to the fact that several years ago a gradation of the largest industrial enterprises was carried out.
  2. Grozny- there are no more than 10 industrial enterprises on the territory of the city. This made it possible to minimize the amount of harmful emissions into the atmosphere.
  3. Nizhnevartovsk- at first glance, a huge number of oil refineries are concentrated here, but they all use the maximum effective methods fight against the environment. This made it possible to achieve amazing results that made the city a participant in this rating.

Separately, we can say about the outsiders.

These are the largest industrial centers of the country:

  1. Bratsk.
  2. Novokuznetsk.
  3. Chelyabinsk.
  4. Volgograd.
  5. Makhachkala.

Public transport

A survey entitled “I am satisfied with the work of public transport in my area”, conducted by experts, affected almost 100,000 people in different cities of the country. Citizens evaluated the work by percentage. The average score across the country turned out to be very objective - 68%.

Moscow, St. Petersburg and a number of cities near Moscow are only in the second ten.

Shops and markets

By quantity and availability outlets Moscow and St. Petersburg will lead in this position. The maximum number of shops, shopping centers and markets is concentrated here.

The third place is occupied by Yekaterinburg and Krasnodar with indicators several times inferior to the leaders. The subsequent subjects of the Russian Federation can be called middle peasants, since there is nothing interesting about them.

Separately, Maikop, forgotten in the mountains, with its ideal climate and a minimum number of retail outlets, and the still undeveloped Crimean peninsula should be mentioned. With the opening of the bridge across the Kerch Strait, the trade infrastructure of the region is improving, but in comparison with the Russian one, it is still significantly inferior.

Leisure and sports

The study was conducted on the basis of answers to the question "There are many places for sports and leisure in my area." About 100,000 people took part in the survey. The processed results made it possible to compile the following tables:

Infrastructure for children

Regarding the provision of city streets with infrastructure for children (playgrounds, schools, kindergartens, sports facilities), the list of leading cities is updated annually. Based on the indicators of 2018, it is possible to compile a table in which the first places are not the capitals of the subjects, but the settlements that have a secondary status.

The subject of the Russian Federation Indicator 2017, % Indicator 2018, %
Moscow 81 81
Domodedovo 72 81
Mytishchi 79 80
Severodvinsk 72 79

St. Petersburg 80 78
Korolev 76 78
Grozny 69 77
Penza 76 77
Gelendzhik 70 75

Outsiders of the rating refer to those whose residents in the majority claim the absence of the very objects of children's infrastructure necessary for children:

The subject of the Russian Federation Indicator 2017, % Indicator 2018, %
Volokolamsk 59 49
Novocherkassk (Rostov region) 58 50

Makhachkala 53 57
Elektrostal 66 57
Rubtsovsk (Altai Territory) 64 58
Noginsk 68 58

Among the cities with the status of a millionaire, only Moscow and St. Petersburg are in the top ten. The rest are in the middle of the table, and some, for example Volgograd, are practically at the end of it (out of 150 participants in the survey, it occupies 110th place).

The quality of public services

The rating of Russian cities in terms of living standards, based on the quality of housing and communal services, is left according to the reviews of the local population.

Only in a few subjects of the Russian Federation, local residents are satisfied with the work of public utilities:

The subject of the Russian Federation Indicator in 2017, % Indicator in 2018, %
Nizhnevartovsk (Tyumen region) 68 73
Abakan (Republic of Khakassia) 62 70

Value for money and quality of life

The level of comfort is not satisfactory for 46.5% of Russians. Only 17.4% of the respondents answered that they have enough income for living. The rest could not give an exact answer.

The segment leader is Krasnogorsk, located in the Moscow region. Most of its inhabitants answered the question in the affirmative, confirming that in fact their income, in comparison with other consumer needs, is quite enough for a favorable life in the city. Here the figure is 57%. In the past, the answers were identical and amounted to 58%.

Rating of Russian cities in terms of the level and quality of life for 2017

The next in the list is Shchelkovo, here the figures are slightly inferior - 55%. The Khakassian capital Abakan is in 3rd place with a score of 52%, which is an increase of 7 units compared to last year.

The capital is located on the 5th line, and St. Petersburg and Yekaterinburg close the top ten.

  1. Rubtsovsk.
  2. Novocherkassk.
  3. Volokolamsk.
  4. Wedge.
  5. Balakovo.

In them, the percentage of responses from the surveyed population barely reaches 30%.

Salary level

The result of studies of the level of income of the population once again shows a huge spread and unevenness of the level of wages of the population. At the same time, the elementary value of the consumer basket varies in the range from 1.32 to 3.58, which shows the difference between leaders and outsiders by almost 2.8 times.

For the first half of this year, the residents of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk had the maximum income, with an eye to the cost of living: the average salary here is 81,700 rubles. It can be used to purchase 3.6 consumer baskets (including a set of services and utility bills).

Salekhard is located nearby with a salary of 90,600 rubles, but the cost of living here is slightly higher, so the city occupies the second position. Surgut and Khanty-Mansiysk, lines 3 and 4, respectively.

Moscow is confidently holding the 5th place. Although the amount of income in relation to accommodation here is significantly inferior to the indicators of the leaders. But still, the level of salaries of the capital looks good - 89,578 rubles.

good neighborliness

Based on the information provided on the basis of the results of the sociological population, the Russians are mostly friendly and have a good relationship with their neighbors. 310,000 people answered the question "How do you feel about your neighbors?" in the affirmative. The average is about 80% of positive responses. Only 10% responded negatively, the rest found it difficult to answer.

Megacities have less significant results in this survey. The reasons are the modern rhythm of life, the heterogeneous composition according to national characteristics and the mobility of citizens. Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg and a number of other major Russian centers are ranked from 70th to 80th.

The Neighborhood indicator looks like this:

  1. Grozny.
  2. Orsk.
  3. Nalchik.
  4. Nizhnevartovsk.
  5. Sterlitamak.
