23 students took part in the Olympiad. Among 5-6 classes - 7 people, 7-8 classes - 10 people, 10-11 classes - 6 people. Pupils of 7-8 grades were the first to start theoretical and methodical tasks. Grades 10-11 were the second to complete the assignments. The theoretical part of the Olympiad was completed by students of grades 5-6. by the most difficult tasks for all groups were tasks in an open form, especially in the form of graphic images. Some students in grades 5-6 and 7-8 did not meet the time limit of 20 minutes. In general, it can be noted middle level knowledge shown by students of all our schools.

Practical classes were held in four sports, gymnastics, athletics, volleyball and basketball. Of the total number of subjects, 8 people (34%) completed the task by less than 50%.

The results of the Olympiad showed the average level of preparedness of students. With The specificity of teaching physical culture requires a special approach, it is difficult to connect theory with practice in lesson activities.

To improve the results in physical culture, I think that it is necessary:

AT this study we determined the level of functional state and physical fitness junior and middle students school age, assigned to a special medical group "A" with diseases internal organs and musculoskeletal disorders. Both the first and second groups have poor results in the manifestation of the choice reaction to a moving object. Many children, especially primary school, there are low rates in the manifestation of maximum strength. This can be explained by the fact that the diseases that the presented students suffer from interfere with strength-oriented exercises, especially for those who suffer from a violation of the internal organs and the endocrine system. Most of the low results are also observed in the middle link. The predominance of low results means that students during their studies at school did not have the opportunity to perform physical activity, since special medical groups were not previously organized, which not only improve the functional state, but also the development of physical qualities. In order to increase the level of functional state and physical fitness of students with handicapped health, it is necessary first of all to develop and implement organizational and methodological conditions for conducting lessons in special medical groups. These conditions will make it possible to select and implement those means of physical culture that are able to successfully solve educational, upbringing and health-improving tasks, and will also help improve the functional state and level of physical fitness of students with disabilities.

INTRODUCTION

Improving the system of physical education of various segments of the population, including students, is one of the activities for the implementation public policy in the field of development of physical culture and sports for the period up to 2020 . At the same time, the presence of an appropriate system of physical culture and sports events is an important condition for the implementation of this direction.

Today, one of the largest physical education events is the All-Russian Olympiad for Schoolchildren in Physical Education, which covers almost all regions of Russia.

According to the Procedure for holding the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren, it is held in several stages: school, municipal, regional and final.

The municipal stage of the Olympiad is the most massive in terms of the number of participants after the school stage. The results of this stage carry important information about the quality of education in the subject "Physical Education" at school.

The purpose of our study was to identify the dynamics of the results of the municipal stage of the All-Russian Olympiad for Schoolchildren in Physical Education, using the example of the Surgut region, as an indicator of the quality of education in the subject "Physical Education".

ORGANIZATION OF THE RESEARCH

To achieve this goal, an analysis of the results of the implementation of the Olympiad tasks of the municipal stage of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren in physical culture was carried out on the example of the Surgut region, in the period from 2012 to 2016.

During the study, the dynamics of the number of participants in the municipal stage of the Olympiad in the specified period was revealed, the results of the implementation of individual Olympiad tasks of the practical and theoretical and methodological rounds were studied. The results of the performance of Olympiad tasks by students of grades 9-11 were analyzed.

RESULTS OF THE STUDY

In the course of the study, it was found that in the period from 2012 to 2016, more than 400 people took part in the municipal stage of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren in physical culture. The largest number of participants was recorded in 2012 - 98 people (Figure 1).

The dynamics of the number of participants in the municipal stage of the Olympiad is characterized by a decrease in the number of participants in 2013 (by 20%) and stabilization of the total

number of participants in subsequent years.

It should be noted that throughout the entire study period, with the exception of 2013, the number of boys participating in the Olympiad exceeded the number of girls. From 2014 to 2016, there has been a decrease in the share of girls in the total number of participants in the Olympiad. If in 2014 girls accounted for 45% of the total number of participants in the Olympiad, then in 2015 and 2016. this figure was 40%.

In accordance with the Olympiad procedure, students of grades 9,10,11 take part in the Olympiad within the same age group. We have identified the percentage of students from grades 9, 10 and 11 in the total number of participants in the Olympiad, separately among boys and girls. For boys, from 2013 to 2016, the largest number of participants in the Olympiad is represented by students of the 11th grade. During the study period, the proportion of students in grade 11 did not fall below 35% in 2012, and reached its maximum values ​​in 2016 - 45% (Figure 2).

The results obtained were quite expected. the peak of natural development falls, as a rule, on the senior school age.

A similar study in girls revealed a completely different picture. The leading positions in the number of participants in the municipal stage of the Olympiad among girls are occupied by students of grade 9. The share of ninth-graders in the total number of participants in the Olympiad (girls) in the study period ranged from 30% in 2013 to 41% in 2015. The smallest representation in the total number of participants in the Olympiad of girls in the study period is 11th grade students. The maximum number of girls from grade 11 was recorded in 2013 and 2016. and amounted to 30%, and the minimum was noted in 2015 and amounted to 21% (Figure 3).

The revealed decrease in the proportion of participants in the Olympiad-girls from 9th to 11th grade causes some concern. The reason for this state of affairs may be a decrease in the interest of girls of senior school age in physical education. This assumption is confirmed by a number of studies in which a decrease in positive attitude to physical education lessons from junior to

senior classes, especially girls.

Olympics (girls)

The content of the program of the Olympiad in Physical Education provides for the fulfillment of tasks of the practical and theoretical-methodological rounds. Practical tests of the school and municipal stages are developed on the basis of methodological recommendations for the development of requirements for the organization and conduct of the school and municipal stages of the Olympiad, compiled by the Central Subject-Methodological Commission and include exercises in the basic part of the school exemplary program in physical culture.

In different years of the study period, the content of the practical round of the municipal stage of the Olympiad (Surgut region) included tests in the following sports: football, basketball, athletics, gymnastics.

Throughout the study period, the program of the municipal stage of the Olympiad in Physical Education included a competitive test in basketball, which can be explained by the high popularity of this sport among students, the wide possibilities of basketball to assess the motor fitness of schoolchildren. However, the study of the dynamics of results in this type of test is complicated by the fact that the final result, expressed in seconds, is largely influenced by the content of the task program, which is updated for each Olympiad.

The competitive test in gymnastics consists of performing an acrobatic combination and is also developed for each Olympiad, however, the overall complexity of this test during the study period changed slightly (opinion of the expert members of the jury), the assessment methodology also remained constant, therefore, in this type of test, it is possible to compare the results shown by the participants of the Olympiad in different years.

The competitive test in athletics did not change throughout the entire period of the study and included overcoming a distance of 500 m for girls and 1000 m for boys. Thus, the results of practical tests in athletics and gymnastics were subjected to a comparative analysis (Table 1).

The results of the study indicate the presence of a negative dynamics of the result in the 1000-meter run among young men. The average result in this type of test in 2016 decreased by 6% compared to the result of 2012. The results obtained indicate a decrease in the level of development of physical quality - endurance in boys of senior school age for five recent years. The girls also showed a decrease in the result in the 500 m run from 2012 to 2015 and an increase in the result in 2016.

The competitive test in gymnastics was included in the program of the municipal stage of the Olympiad in 2013, 2014 and 2016. The dynamics of the results in this test among young men during the study period is characterized by slight fluctuations (within 0.2 points). The maximum result was shown in 2014 and amounted to 7.5 points, the minimum in 2016 - 7.3 points.

The results of the acrobatic combination in girls are characterized by the presence of a slight positive trend: 2013 - 7.7 points, 2016 - 8 points. It should be noted that throughout the entire study period, the girls were ahead of the boys in terms of the average score for performing the gymnastic combination. At the same time, the spread of results relative to the average value for boys is much larger than for girls, as evidenced by a higher standard deviation. The data obtained allow us to conclude that girls, in comparison with boys, have a higher overall level of readiness to perform a competitive task in gymnastics.

A test of a theoretical and methodological nature is one of the mandatory tests of the Olympiad in physical culture during which the level of knowledge in the field of physical culture and sports is determined. We have determined the dynamics of the results of fulfilling the tasks of the theoretical and methodological round of the municipal stage of the Olympiad during the study period. The proportion of correct answers in % was taken into account.

The results obtained indicate that most of the participants of the Olympiad experience significant difficulties in completing the tasks of the theoretical and methodological round of the Olympiad. Despite the fact that for some participants the proportion of correct answers reached 80%, the average in this test throughout the entire study period did not exceed 50% for both boys and girls. The maximum result was recorded in 2016 and amounted to 46 and 44%, in boys and girls, respectively. The results of the theoretical and methodological round of the Olympiad indicate the need to improve the work on the formation of the knowledge component in the process of implementing the program material on physical culture.

1. An analysis of the gender composition of participants in the municipal stage of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren in physical culture during the study period indicates a decrease in the proportion of girls in the total number of participants in the Olympiad. At the same time, the largest number of participants in the Olympiad-girls are students of the 9th grade, the smallest - students of the 11th grade.

2. The negative dynamics of the result of the competitive test in athletics was revealed, which indicates a decrease in the level of development of physical quality - endurance among students of senior school age.

3. In the competitive test in gymnastics, the stability of the results in boys and the presence of a slight positive trend in girls were revealed, while the results of girls are higher than the results of boys throughout the entire study period.

4. The proportion of correctly completed tasks of the theoretical and methodological round of the Olympiad, during the study period, does not exceed 50%, both among boys and girls, and

is characterized by wide variability relative to the mean value.

Conclusions 1. Since 2009, on the problem of preparing and holding subject Olympiads in the Balezinsky district, it has allowed to accumulate some experience and knowledge, both in organizing and developing program content, to choose approaches to evaluating results and determining winners. However, the Olympiads in the subject of "Physical Education" in terms of their target orientation, the essence of the program content and the technology of organization require further improvement, both for the participants and the organizers of the All-Russian Olympiads in the subject "Physical Education".

2. . The results of the performance on the theoretical, methodological and practical sections of village and rural students of grades 7 - 1 1 at the municipal stage of the Olympiads were determined. According to the results of students' performances, the indicators for 2009 - 2011 deteriorated in all sections: Village Rural Theory from 40.6% to 15.9% from 52.8% to 27.9% 66.1% to 57.2% Athletics 31.15% to 21.1% 71.8% to 32.1% Basketball 23.8% to 45.7% 64.4% to 36, 4%

3. Comparative analysis the results of the performance in 2009 - 2011, village and rural educational institutions of the Balezinsky district showed that the winners at the municipal stage of the All-Russian Olympiads for schoolchildren are annually students of 7 - 11 grades of rural educational institutions and make up - 58.3%, village educational institutions were also winners, respectively make up 47.7%. The winners of these stages of the Olympiad from 2009 - 2011 were students from rural educational institutions - 77.2%, students from village schools scored 22.8%.

PRACTICAL RECOMMENDATIONS Based on the research, analysis of literature data and generalization of experience to increase the popularization of this form of education, making it a mass character, practical recommendations are formulated: 1. The Ministry of Education and Science of the UR to equip basic general education schools with the necessary inventory and equipment; conduct additional seminars, studies, advanced training courses for physical education teachers. 2. Organizing committees, subject-methodological commissions, taking into account the specifics of the subject "physical culture", work out the mechanisms of organization, the conditions for holding Olympiads, the age characteristics of students, improve the basics of the content of subject tasks and the procedure for evaluating tests; prepare materials to cover the organization and conduct of the relevant stages of Olympiads in physical culture in the media mass media. 3. To exercise control over the organization and conduct of the school and municipal stages of the All-Russian Olympiads, develop a unified system for evaluating the performance of students and maintain relationships with the Republican subject-methodological commission of the Olympiad for schoolchildren in "Physical Education". 4. In order to improve the performance of students, teachers of physical culture need to carry out systematic, systematic work in schools in all sections of the Olympiad program. The solution of the above problems will improve the quality of school Olympiads in physical culture, give them a real focus and pedagogical significance in the field of physical education of schoolchildren.

A qualitative analysis of the implementation of practical tests in gymnastics and basketball by students in grades 9–11 of a secondary (full) school was carried out: separately for boys and girls in their age groups. Analysis of the data obtained showed a weak level of jumping training among schoolchildren, which is reflected in the difficulty of performing exercises. The main mistakes in performing gymnastic elements, both among boys and girls, were insufficient height of the flight phase of jumps, distortion of working posture, lack of unity and unjustified delays and pauses between elements. The least common were landing errors and insufficient fixation of static elements. The largest percentage of mistakes made by boys and girls in practical tasks in basketball was revealed by the ball not hitting the ring and violating the rules in dribbling technique. To improve the results of practical tests by schoolchildren, methodological recommendations have been drawn up.

Unfortunately, the younger generation does not always understand the importance and significance of physical culture. There are many ways to arouse children's interest in discipline. Mostly these are game methods or methods of a competitive plan. It is important for a child to become the best, the first. The Olympiad in Physical Culture can become such an event. And if it goes beyond the boundaries of the school, city, region, then it is a truly global event for students of secondary schools. This large-scale event is attended by students who are the most diversified physically and intellectually.

The orientation of the Olympiad is manifested, first of all, in the comprehensive development of the student's personality. With regular exercise, the development of muscle memory occurs, and this contributes to the preservation of motor potential until old age. With the help of varying and gradual complication of practical tests from stage to stage, schoolchildren are involved in regular independent physical exercises. This also contributes to improving the quality of teaching the subject "Physical Education" at school.

The Olympiad in Physical Culture solves the following tasks:

To develop in schoolchildren the need for constant physical self-improvement;

Expand theoretical knowledge in physical culture;

To promote a healthy lifestyle in order to prevent and eliminate bad habits;

To identify and encourage the most prepared schoolchildren, as well as physical education teachers and heads of educational institutions who have achieved high results in the development of physical culture.

The regional stage of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren in the subject "Physical Education" is a competitive test for students in grades 9-11 of a secondary (full) school: separately for boys and girls in their age groups.

The competitive test consists of tasks of a theoretical, methodological and practical nature. The tasks of the Olympiad are compiled on the basis of exemplary basic general educational programs of basic general and secondary (complete) general education.

The winner of the Olympiad can be a comprehensively developed physically and intellectually schoolchild who has demonstrated his knowledge and skills in the field of physical culture.

Purpose of the study was to conduct qualitative analysis performing practical tests in gymnastics and basketball and drawing up methodological recommendations to reduce errors in the performance of individual elements.

Methods and organization of the study. The research was carried out on the basis of the Astrakhan State technical university in 2016-2017 academic year within the framework of the regional stage of the All-Russian Olympiad in the subject "Physical Education" in sections: gymnastics and basketball. 79 boys and 60 girls of 9-11 grades took part in them.

Theoretical and methodological test consisted of answering test questions.

Practical tests consisted mainly in performing exercises of the basic part of the school exemplary program for the course "Physical Education". Olympiad tasks consist of a set techniques characteristic of the sport for which the test is being conducted.

In the gymnastic discipline, the participants performed an acrobatic combination, which was evaluated according to two parameters: the difficulty of the performance and the quality of the performance.

The criterion and methodology for assessing the performance of tasks were developed specifically by the Central Subject-Methodological Commission of the Olympiad. The maximum possible score for both boys and girls was 20.0 points. For each unfulfilled exercise, the “cost” of this exercise (in points) was deducted.

Evaluation of the quality of performance practical task in basketball consisted of two parameters: the time spent by the student to complete the entire competitive test, and the penalty time (for violations of the technique of performing individual techniques).

Results and its discussion. Analysis of the data obtained showed a weak level of jumping training among schoolchildren. These exercises caused difficulty among schoolchildren (Tables 1, 2).

Boys and girls make the same mistakes. The difference lies only in their number. The main reason for the identified errors is the lack of development of muscle memory.

The most common mistakes were landing errors and insufficient fixation of static elements. To avoid them, you need to have a good muscular system.

Most of the errors in practical tasks in basketball are associated with the ball not hitting the hoop (Tables 3 and 4).

In girls, unlike boys, the mistake of violating the rules of dribbling technique was also common.

The ability to accurately throw the ball into the basket depends on many factors: the eye, technical skills, the strength of the main muscle groups, the ability to coordinate their movements well. An important role is played by psychological factors: nervousness, lack of determination, haste, etc. Girls are more emotional than boys, so this factor greatly affected the ability to accurately throw the ball into the basket.

Among the other mistakes that were made by the participants of the Olympiad, there was an insufficient variety of conditions for the application of one or another technique, which stimulates the formation and improvement of methods for its implementation.

As you can see, boys have higher credit and final scores than girls. This is due to the more developed muscular system they have.

Conclusion. In the course of the study, it was found that the test scores for all types of tests among young men are higher. They are more enduring than girls and more confident in their abilities, while showing the calmness that is so necessary on the way to victory.

The level of jump training has a significant impact on the correct execution of gymnastic elements, and the level of coordination abilities in basketball has a significant impact. When organizing physical education lessons, these factors must be taken into account.

Gymnastics also has certain requirements to the development of physical qualities. For example, in an acrobatic combination, strength, flexibility and coordination are required. The level of development of these qualities affects the performance of gymnastic exercises. In this regard, the students made gross, medium and small mistakes.

The execution of combinations without a clear beginning or end was attributed to gross errors. Medium errors included non-fulfillment of the general detail of the technique of the exercise, significant leg spread, etc. Minor errors included errors related to the details of the technique.

After analyzing the results of the performance of schoolchildren, we can offer the following recommendations for more effective preparation for participation in the Olympiad at all its stages and to eliminate some mistakes:

  1. When learning exercises, it is necessary to observe the gymnastic style of their implementation.
  2. When controlling the rotation to the required angle, it is necessary to achieve the proper rotation angle in the exercise.
  3. When performing balance exercises, it is necessary to achieve stability and the correct position of the body.
  4. For the development of jumping ability, it is necessary to introduce as many jumping exercises as possible into physical education lessons. At the same time, limit the height of jumps and teach children to land softer, as they have an insufficient level of manifestation of the muscle strength of the lower extremities. Attention should also be paid to the dosage of these exercises, since autonomic functions in children lag behind the development of motor skills. Due to the increase in breathing during jumps, exercises should be used in the correct combination of breathing and motor actions.
  5. To develop the accuracy of a throw in basketball in physical education lessons, it is necessary to use exercises with the ball in relay races and outdoor games.
  6. To maintain the psychophysiological state of the body of children within the normal range, it is necessary to correctly combine high-intensity exercises with medium and low ones.
