Flight schools of Russia. Higher military aviation schools for pilots and navigators. Institutes of Civil Aviation in Russia Aviation College after 9

Aviation is not only about the convenience of transportation, high-tech transport and travel around the world; it's a calling. In modern Russian airlines there is an acute shortage qualified personnel. The times when there were not enough teachers and equipment in schools and institutes are long gone. Today, everyone can get a comprehensive education in the field of aviation, learning on modern aircraft and simulators. Each educational institution is also equipped with laboratories, workshops and modern classrooms. There are civil aviation institutes and flight schools in many regions of Russia. Let's consider them in more detail.

To get a higher education in the aviation field, one should enroll in a higher civil aviation flight school or an appropriate civil aviation institute. There are many of them in Russia. The most prestigious universities are located in the following cities:

  • Ulyanovsk;
  • Moscow;
  • St. Petersburg;
  • Samara;
  • Kazan;
  • Chelyabinsk.

Today, educational programs at universities include methods proven over the years and modern European teaching technologies. The list of subjects that future graduates will encounter includes general and humanitarian disciplines, foreign languages, physical training, as well as narrow-profile items.

Ulyanovsk Institute of Civil Aviation (UI GA) is one of the most prestigious universities countries.

Future specialists, bachelors, graduate students can get education here. Here they learn how to full-time within 5 years, and in absentia (5.5 years). Students who already have a secondary specialized aviation education or a higher education are trained in an abbreviated form. The institute offers a wide range of specialties, including piloting, Maintenance, flight control and management, and security. Cadets are provided with food and hostel; the institute has a military department. Branches of UIGA are several schools located in Sasovo, Omsk and Krasny Kut.

The Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI) is a major research university. Here, not only student education takes place, but also the design and development the latest achievements aviation and rocket and space spheres. You can study for a fee or free of charge on full-time and in absentia. Special preparation courses for admission are organized for applicants.

MAI faculties include not only specialized disciplines and areas: there are opportunities for teaching social engineering, foreign languages, applied mathematics and physics. The remaining faculties graduate specialists in the field of radio electronics, management, computer science, aviation components, etc. A hostel has been created for non-resident students. Military department also present at the university.

How to enter an aviation university

Rules for admission to aviation institutes and universities are in some ways similar to going to civilian establishments. Applicants take the exam for the right items(most often it is the Russian language, mathematics and physics). In addition, a flight medical examination is required, within the framework of which a detailed examination of the health status of the future student is carried out. It is possible to pass the selection only with the passed commission and a successful psychological interview.

With the same scores, applicants are selected on the basis of success in passing profile subjects. Applicants who have not passed the budget can apply for paid studies. Girls can also study at universities, but they are often not accepted for training in piloting aircraft.

Benefits for admission can be provided to orphans and representatives of socially unprotected segments of the population. Widespread practice target direction, when the company provides the applicant with a guarantee of employment upon graduation.

Secondary specialized educational institutions in the field of aviation

In addition to universities or institutes, numerous aviation schools of civil aviation in Russia provide an opportunity to get an education. They are located in different cities, have options for admission on the basis of 9 or 11 classes and have different lists of specialties of study. Leading secondary vocational schools in the aviation sector are located in the following cities of Russia:

  • Red Kut;
  • Omsk;
  • Buguruslan;
  • Sasovo.

The Omsk flight technical college, the Krasnokutsk school and the school of the city of Sasovo are part of the branches of the Ulyanovsk Institute of Civil Aviation, and the Buguruslan School operates under the control of the St. Petersburg Institute of Civil Aviation. Such mergers educational institutions help college graduates to enter institutes on a reduced basis or get a job in leading Russian companies and enterprises.

Flight schools of civil aviation of Russia after 9 classes train cadets for 3 years 10 months. This opportunity is provided by the Omsk Flight College. It presents several specialties: an aircraft and helicopter pilot (one of the few institutions where there is helicopter training), a flight mechanic, an aircraft mechanic, an engineer for working with navigation and radio equipment.

About 1000 people study at the school, among them there are both full-time and part-time students. College selection is very strict: as a rule, only half of the applicants successfully pass it. Cadets train on airplanes, Mi-8 helicopter. For the successful development of the educational and methodological program, an airfield, hangars, warehouses, laboratories and workshops are located on the territory of the college - everything for theoretical and practical classes.

Flight schools of civil aviation in Russia after 11 classes are presented in a wider range of options. Omsk College, mentioned above, provides an opportunity to enter even after 11 classes. In addition to it, the Krasnokutsk School operates in Russia - a school for civil aviation pilots. Education based on 11 classes lasts for a period of 2 years and 10 months. Future pilots train on 5 types of aircraft and various simulators. In total, about 300 people study in Krasny Kut. Cadets are provided with a hostel, meals and uniforms. There is the possibility of training on a paid basis, the cost of which for the entire period will be more than 100,000 rubles.

Omsk flight technical college

Future commercial pilots are trained full-time in Buguruslan. The term of study is standard for the specialty. About 320 people are recruited to the school every year; most of the cadets study for free, the rest - at their own expense. The college has a large fleet of aircraft, simulators and other elements of modern equipment. Paid education here costs a lot, more than 2.7 million rubles for all the time.

Sasovo also trains civil aviation pilots and IT technicians. Previously, this school was considered especially prestigious due to its proximity to the capital. His current condition is also not bad: the school is well equipped with everything necessary. You can study for a fee and for free.

All schools in Russia in the field of aviation, in addition to general course training of cadets, provide paid services. This may be retraining of personnel, various courses, including teaching in English. Each of them is equipped with a dining room and a catering unit; cadets eat free of charge three times a day. In addition, colleges are equipped assembly halls, sports complexes with a variety of halls and sections, hostels.

Cadets on the territory of schools are required to comply with a strict daily routine and rules of conduct, leave the territory at a set time for a certain period, and comply with the requirements in study and everyday life. Orphans and socially unprotected cadets are provided with material assistance, social stipend, and allowances for the purchase of things necessary for study. Students of budgetary departments receive a scholarship.

Sasovo flight school

The rules for admission to secondary specialized educational institutions are the same. First of all, the average score of the certificate after 9 or 11 classes is taken into account. Among them, mathematics, physics, Russian and foreign language in exactly that order. In case of disputable situations, grades in these subjects will be the decisive factor in admission. Passing scores in each college may vary. They are high in Sasovo, Omsk and slightly lower in Krasny Kut and Buguruslan.

An equally important factor in how to enter a flight school in Russia is a psychological interview and a medical commission. The timing of its implementation is strictly established, since the duration of each of the certificates may be different. The passage of the commission is carried out for a fee. Usually it can be passed either in the educational institution itself, or in another medical institution adapted for this. The studies include a comprehensive examination of doctors: a dentist, a psychiatrist, a narcologist, a venereologist, a radiologist, a surgeon, etc. In addition, blood, urine, feces tests are taken, X-rays, ECGs are taken, etc. Successful completion of the commission is one of the most important conditions for admission to any aviation school.

For admission to both a college and a Russian university, the applicant’s application itself, documents proving his identity, a certificate, USE results at higher education. In addition, you will need an insurance certificate, a military ID and a medical policy.

Employment after graduation from institutes and schools

Graduates of aviation educational institutions have a chance to get a job in their specialty in airlines, factories in the production of aircraft, helicopters and space technology and air hubs. The chances of employment as pilots increase with a sufficient number of flying hours and a high level of foreign language proficiency.

Employment after graduation can be difficult, despite the fact that Russian enterprises need employees. As a rule, each secondary school cooperates with a number of organizations and companies that regularly send lists of vacancies. Many graduates choose to continue specialized training at the institute or go to military service.

Military aviation today is one of the main means of combating world terrorism. The Russian Military Space Forces (VKS) became the main actor antiterrorist operation in Syria. Therefore, the training of military pilots is one of the most urgent tasks for the country. The city of Monino near Moscow is one of the aviation centers of Russia. It is here that it is planned to open a presidential cadet school with an aviation bias. And since 2000, a unique boarding school with initial flight training has been operating in Monin, bearing the name of the legendary fighter pilot, three times Hero Soviet Union Alexander Pokryshkin.

Yury Kravchenko, director of the school, military pilot of the 1st class, a participant in the war in Afghanistan, spoke to a correspondent of the Shchelkovo news agency about the process of training and the prospects for Russian aviation.

At the helm since the tenth grade

In November 1998, a decree was issued on the establishment of nine boarding schools throughout Russia with initial flight training. And in 2000, a school was created in Monin, the founders of which were the Shchelkovsky district, the Ministry of Education of the region, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the High Command of the Russian Air Force (Air Force).

“Currently, there are perhaps two or three such institutions left, and flight practice is probably only with us,” says Kravchenko.

Education at the school named after A. I. Pokryshkin takes place after the ninth grade and only boys. Most of them are residents of the Moscow region. For children from the regions of Russia and Moscow, permission from the Minister of Education of the Moscow Region is required. By the way, all students are fully supported by the state.

About 220 people study at the school, but not all of them graduate from it - not everyone copes with the load. Discipline and daily routine here - as in the Suvorov School, not all the guys can handle it. The military order is in everything - companies, platoons, commanders from retired Air Force officers. Strict prohibitions apply, for example, for bad habits immediate expulsion follows, for using the phone during school hours - a reprimand and a refusal to leave.

The difference from a regular school is also in additional specialized disciplines, among which aviation technology, aerodynamics, parachute and radio engineering training. This allows the guys to get the necessary knowledge for flight practice. Now there is an experiment on the introduction of three more directions. At their choice, the guys can take a lifeguard course, a drone operator or engineering training.

The rest is ordinary school, where civilian teachers teach, of which 70% have the highest pedagogical category. Graduates of the school are given the same certificate as all Russian graduates.

In the sky - only the best

Flight practice students take place in Serpukhov, near Moscow, at the Drakino airfield on EuroStar light aircraft. Only 45-50% of cadets receive admission to practice.

“Unfortunately, we have fewer and fewer completely healthy guys. Even frequent colds affect the choice - the pilot cannot often get sick. From the rest, we filter out according to the rating system, which takes into account grades in subjects and for flights on an aircraft simulator, ”explains the director of the educational institution.

The school has several simulators at its disposal: one of them completely imitates the cockpit of an aircraft, the rest are computer-based. Previously, those who wished could master piloting a real MI-2 helicopter, but now this training apparatus is being repaired.

After practice, the guys receive badges for a paratrooper of the 3rd class, having made three jumps from an AN-2 aircraft from a height of 8000 meters, and badges for piloting, having flown about 15 hours.

Revival of military aviation

Yuri Kravchenko himself served in Afghanistan, where in two years he made 565 sorties, landing at all 17 airfields in this country. He awarded the order Red Star and the Order of the Red Banner of Afghanistan.

“I came to the service in Soviet times, when the system for training flight personnel was very powerful. Almost all types of aviation had their own school. The raid was fantastic - about 300 hours. Prepared pilots came out, who had only to retrain for certain machines and hone their skills. Literally four or five years - and the pilot received the 1st class, which means that he could fly at any time in any weather conditions, ”recalls Kravchenko.

According to him, the 90s were a real blow to Russian aviation. The wear and tear of equipment and the reduction of the flight crew undermined its power. For the city of Monin, a sad echo of the 90s was the cessation of the Air Force Academy named after N. E. Zhukovsky and Yu. A. Gagarin, which was the base for training commanders, some of the best pilots in the country were produced here.

“The rise of aviation began in 2008-2010. Military pilots are once again becoming the elite. But my opinion is this: they still fly little, although, perhaps, in modern conditions and with the current capabilities of aircraft, this is not required on such a scale as before. The technology has advanced so much that I am no longer ready to board a new plane,” the director of the flight school admits.

He also noted that several exercises have recently taken place in Russia, which have shown that we have the Armed Forces capable of repelling enemies. And the Parade in honor of the 70th anniversary of the Victory on May 9 demonstrated the latest aviation and ground equipment.

“I am delighted with what a full-scale operation our military is conducting against terrorists in Syria. This is a demonstration of our power and coherence of actions, an indicator for the whole world that aviation in Russia did not die. She has high-precision weapons. The Russian Aerospace Forces were able to demonstrate the most high level conduct of hostilities," concluded Kravchenko

Girls and boys, wishing to have a military rank, enter military schools after the 9th grade.

These guys have a much greater advantage than their fellow citizens from 11 classes, because it is much easier to enter a higher military institution if you have a diploma from a technical school or college.

This article will talk about military schools after the 9th grade and not only.

The main educational institutions of Russia

Military education is divided into two types:

  1. Basic. It is divided into: cadet, suvorov and nakhimov schools.
  2. Higher includes varieties: institutes, academies, higher command schools.

Future warriors can delve into one of their chosen specialties in the following areas of troops:

  • land;
  • airborne;
  • marine;
  • railway;
  • rocket;
  • Cossack;
  • military-technical;
  • military musical troops;
  • military justice troops.

The main cities where the main educational centers are concentrated are: St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod and Moscow. Parents often send their children to military school because of the reigning discipline of the barracks walls. When choosing a school, parents are guided by several criteria:

  1. Location of the institution (preferably closer to home).
  2. The age of the future cadet (after grade 9, not all military institutions can be entered).
  3. Requirements for applicants (in order to “pull up” grades in advance to the desired level).
  4. Deadline for submission of documents (reception of documents starts earlier than in secondary schools).

List of the best military educational institutions of the Russian Federation

Cadets

Cadets begin their military career in early age(grades 4-5), after classes at a military school, the guys go home.

Suvorov

Suvorovites differ from the cadets in that these young guys, who graduated from the 8th or 9th grade, live in barracks, far from home.

The admission criteria are similar for cadets, as well as for Suvorov and Nakhimov students. List of the most famous Suvorov schools:

  • Yekaterinburg;

Studying in such an institution is incredibly prestigious.

After graduation, mid-level specialists enter universities without exams.

The best educational institution known throughout Russia is the Nakhimov School in St. Petersburg.

Requirements for applicants

The requirements for applicants who enter in order to become a cadet are not simple, it is necessary:

  • have the citizenship of the Russian Federation;
  • suitable age;
  • good level preparation;
  • positive test results (psychological, physiological).

Graduates of the 9th grade cannot start studying at their own request, as without fail, parental consent is required. If all stages of selection are passed, the cadet lives in the barracks. In case of non-compliance with the norms of behavior, he can be expelled.

The admission of girls to military universities is a rather complicated operation, only five out of 26 universities recruit. The rules for admitting girls are similar to the rules for admitting boys, the only difference is the level of difficulty in passing the standards.

After graduating from college, a girl can practice medicine, control a missile and ballistic complex, automated system command and control of troops, ground-based space infrastructure, as well as work. The study of boys and girls is different in that girls learn to work in the communication field related to the personnel department and the military.

Ministry of Emergency Situations

Graduates who dreamed of being firefighters or rescuers, there are also educational institutions according to their customs, for the Ministry of Emergency Situations these are:

  • fire and rescue college in Moscow;
  • fire rescue college in St. Petersburg;
  • cadet corps at the Academy of Civil Defense.

In order to join the ranks of the EMERCOM of Russia, it is necessary to pass the standards (shuttle run, 1 km run, long jumps, pull-ups) and exams in the necessary disciplines. Girls can apply equally with boys.

MIA

The requirements for students who want to get the title of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are quite high and are no different from the requirements of all military schools.

After graduation, graduates have a complete secondary education, and can already work as operatives, detectives, forensic specialists, and district police officers. The most famous educational centers MIA are:

  • police college in Moscow;
  • Moscow secondary special police school of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia;
  • The educational center Moscow Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the training of workers of the Higher Military District.

Note: in order to get a job in the future Federal Service Security (FSB), you must complete 11 classes, pass exams and pass a medical examination. It is very difficult to enter any specialty in this field.

Flight

To enroll in flight, you must complete 11 classes, pass exams in the Russian language, mathematics and physics.

The decisive factor is health indicators, psychological tests and also, good marks in the exam. The most famous flight schools of the Russian Federation are located in Moscow, Ulyanovsk, St. Petersburg and Omsk.

The requirements for admission to the space school are no different from the flight. The best space educational institutions in Russia are located in St. Petersburg, Moscow, Omsk.

There are a large number of educational institutions of a military nature in Russia. Every year, the state is replenished with new specialists in various fields (the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Federal Security Service, as well as institutions that graduate cadets, Suvorov and Nakhimov).

Every ninth-grader has a chance to become a military man, but he must seriously think about the choice of his fate, because defending the state is a difficult task, not everyone can cope with it.
