In addition, there are many characters with different personalities in this work. Everyone will be able to choose their favorite and come up with their own stories that take place in the Flower City.
Each lesson we will upload new characters and learn how to work with them. So, as you learn, you will have a whole world fairytale heroes. Over time, we will learn how to make characters on our own.
In Windows Explorer, right-click on the archive and select "Extract all ..." from the menu that opens. A folder containing the "Flower_City" project will appear. It will need to be opened in Maya.

Exercises for the lesson
If your Dunno moves too fast, then in the first lesson you did not set the frame rate in the animation. Let's do it now: go to the Windows->Settings/Preferences->Preferences menu. We are looking for the line "Time Slider" and in the field "Playback Speed" select "Real-time". Click "Save" (Save).
In our tutorial, we set the interval between keyframes to 12 frames. If you decrease or increase this interval, then our hero will move faster or slower.

Today we will do character animation, learn how to adjust facial expressions.
You have already downloaded the Dunno model from our website. Before opening our character, let's set up the project. Go to the main File menu; set project; select the folder in which the character downloaded from our site is located; Flower_City; click Set.
Now let's open the Dunno model. To do this, go back to the File menu; open scene; in the folder of our Flower_City project, select scenes; then Neznaika_rig and click Open.

You can control the character not only with the help of controllers, but also with the help of Channel_Box. We select the channel of the right eye "R Eya Blink / er ah blink". Now let's move the cursor to the working area, hold down the Ctrl key and the mouse wheel. The cursor has become a dot with two arrows. Let's drag the cursor in different directions. The stranger winks at us. The same with the other eye.
We now select the mouth controller. Here it is in the form of a dark red smile.
In Channel_Box, select the Smile channel. By holding down Ctrl and the mouse wheel, we can make Dunno smile. The Joy channel will make him laugh. Surprise is surprise. Sadness - sadness. Perplexity - bewilderment. Closed Mouth - closed mouth.
With the help of the channels below, you can pronounce different letters and speak.
Let's select the head controller and try to move it. As you can see, nothing happens. Probably, this is because Dunno should not lose his head, because this can end badly. But the head can perfectly spin in different directions. Select the Rotate tool using this button or the hot key "E / and". It's all right, "it's spinning." (pause) Select the changed channels in the Channel_Box; press 0 and Enter to reset the rotation angles and return the head to its original position.
This yellow line is the shoulder controller. (pause) Note that we can't select it, the active rotation tool is in the way. We click the mouse away from Dunno; and now we can select the shoulder controller; here it is blue.
The move tool does not work, the arrows are inactive, they are gray. (pause) Use the Ctrl and Z keys to undo the changes.
