KS (K) OU "Cheboksary special (correctional) comprehensive school-boarding school" of the Ministry of Education of Chuvashia traces its history back to 1932 (more). To carry out educational activities, it has all the necessary licenses, passed state accreditation in the manner established by the Law of the Russian Federation "On Education" (more). In accordance with the established state status, a general educational institution trains 177 pupils and implements educational programs primary general education, basic general education, secondary (complete) general education and has the right to issue a state document to graduates: a certificate of basic general education, certificate of secondary (complete) general education. The boarding school provides pupils with conditions for education, upbringing, treatment, correction of primary and secondary deviations in the development of students with visual impairment, the development of intact analyzers, the formation of corrective and compensatory skills that contribute to social adaptation and integration of pupils into society. The design of the Educational Program is based on the principles of humanization of education, an individual-personal approach to the problems of development of students with visual deprivation, taking into account the state of their somatic, mental health, the state of the organ of vision and visual functions.
Our institution implements the following types and types of educational programs:
main general education programs primary general education;
basic general education programs of basic general education;
basic general education programs of secondary (complete) general education.
The boarding school carries out the educational process in accordance with the levels of educational programs of three levels of education: the first stage - primary general education (the standard development period is 4 years); the second stage - basic general education (normative period of development is 6 years); the third step is secondary (complete) general education (the normative term for mastering is 2 years). Taking into account the needs and abilities of students, general education programs can be mastered in addition to the main (full-time) in the following forms: family education, external study, individual curricula(homeschooling and home school with a distance education model), as well as in combination various forms. The conditions and procedure for mastering the basic educational programs in the above non-traditional forms, the relations of the State institution with students and their legal representatives are regulated by the provisions. Teaching children individually curricula carried out according to the scheme:
1 - 4 classes - 8 hours; 5 - 9 classes - 10 hours; Grade 10 - 11 hours; 11 - 12 classes - 12 hours.
In accordance with the Law Chuvash Republic"On Languages in the Chuvash Republic" as a mandatory, starting from the 1st grade, the Chuvash language is studied.
